This
year we’re making some big changes at the Footscray Club
kitchen. All meals are home-cooked using fresh seasonal produce
straight from the markets. The menu has changed too.
We’re
offering some lighter lunch options:
Warm
chicken salad
Spinach and ricotta pie
Quiche
Foccacias
Vegetable frittata
Pasta
Cheese and olive tart
Vol au vents
Wedges with sour cream and salsa
As
well as tried and true favourites like:
Home-made
pasties
Braised lambshanks on a bed of mash
Sweet curried sausages
Home-made salmon patties
Lasagne – bolognaise and vegetarian
Crumbed chicken breast parmigiana
Lunch
is served from 11.30 until 2pm, Thursday
and Friday only, and all meals are very reasonably priced
between $9 - $11. Check the Board for details!
Thursday
is $9 lunch day, and the price includes a pot of beer, glass of
wine or a soft drink. So if it’s been a while since you
last visited the club, come and give us a try.
